Will Sony PSP 4000 be launched in 2009?

Even President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, David Reeve says “there are currently no plans for a PSP2.” According to him there is no such plan from Sony now. There are some sources which claim that some insiders have leaked the features of the Sony PSP-4000 and the console has not been changed too much with some minor changes here and there. The PSP-4000 was just launched in October 2008 and so everybody is expecting that the PSP-4000 would also be launched by this time or so in the year 2009.

There have been reports that Sony has already planned and designer a more powerful successor of PSP-4000 which they would launch immediately after few months the PSP-4000 is launched to grab more market share and write off its competitors in the market. The gaming sites and other news sites are claiming the release of PSP-400 with no solid proof. But as long as there are rumors there is hope in the eyes of gamers!
